The farm shop & butchery is open seven days a week 

Pop into our onsite farm shop for fresh, local produce, everyday essentials and store cupboard treats. We offer a variety of home grown seasonal fruits and vegetables, free range meats, fresh local bakery bread and fresh eggs collected from our - sometimes a bit too - free-range hens!

We have all your grocery staples - milk, butter, cheese, tinned foods, fresh local jams, pickles, chutneys and much more - as well as Hertfordshire's own 'Old Vodka' (and gin) produced right here at Church Farm.

Click & Collect orders can be ordered via our online store and collected from the shop every Saturday. Dogs on leads are welcome so feel free to drop by on your walk. 

Every cut of meat in the farm shop, farm cafe, Jolly Waggoner pub and in the farm box scheme comes from free range animals. Our rare and pedigree breeds include Red Poll and Black Angus cattle, Large White, Berkshire and British Lop pigs, Black Welsh mountain and Lleyn sheep, Norfolk Black turkeys, Embden geese and Aylesbury ducks. Adrian and the butchery team are always on hand to help.

All the meat is hung to give the final product the best flavour and texture; plus we do not add water to meat, routinely use antibiotics, feed GM soya or any of the other industrial food chain chicanery. No horse here! You can also order meat for the week with our home delivery box scheme. Adrian and the butchery team are always on hand to help with specific orders and cuts of meat.
