Welcome to Church Farm

Great Food : Great Farming : Great Life
Reconnecting People, Land & Food
Church Farm, Ardeley is situated between Stevenage & Buntingford. Anyone can visit the farm and walk the footpaths at anytime. Children can feed the animals through the fence. You can visit the café and tea rooms for all day breakfast and lunches, all produced on the Farm from £5.
We grow over 200 different vegetables and herbs, have chickens, geese, pigs, sheep, turkeys, ducks and a herd of Red Poll Cattle. You can traverse the farm via footpaths and see your food grow .There is a farm store full of quality local food and household items at supermarket prices.
You can also arrange for weekly vegetable and fruit boxes and meat boxes to be delivered to you. The Farm Store is open 8am-6pm everyday. The Farm Café is open 10am-4pm weekdays and 8am- 6pm weekends. Evenings, pre-booking only, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Church Farm is opposite the Rabbits Foot pub in Ardeley. Cyclists, walkers and visiting groups are welcome.
We also run Children’s Parties, Holiday Day Camps, Cater for Special Events and take Group Bookings for Farm Feasts!
At Church Farm we have an on-site mechanic service and workshop for car and van servicing enabling local people to halve their bills.
Every weekend there are courses and events for example learning how to keep Bees or Poultry, Create a Forest Garden, going on guided Bat, Bird or Badger Walks.
Starting with food then imagining what a farm could be, our aim is to be a rural hub helping local people to create a better life for less. You are very welcome,
Best Wishes
Tim, Emma, Adrian
and the Church Farm Team.
