Fresh local food direct to your door Each farm box is tailored by you and can contain all or a selection of Church Farm high welfare meat, the best tasting varieties of vegetables, fresh free range eggs and non air-freighted organic fruit, as well as organic cheese, milk, butter and bread. All our weekly and fortnightly farm box customers receive . Members gain a deeper involvement with the farm and build a connection to the land and the food produced from it. Membership benefits include free family farm tractor tours and farm experience days every season, 20% off all workshops, events and camping.

Then leave everything else to us. Your box will be picked, packed and delivered or ready to collect every week. You can always specify likes and dislikes, change, suspend or cancel your order – by contacting us by 10am on a Wednesday prior to delivery/collection.
Flexibility: Dislikes, special requests and add ons
Because every household is different, we’ve designed our box system so that you can from each of the elements we have available (veg, fruit, meat etc.). Even though the contents of each of these elements are generally fixed, we understand that sometimes there are things that you don’t like or are allergic to – in which case you may like to express particular preferences or special requests. We allow a maximum of 2 dislikes for each element of your box – assorted seasonal vegetables, fruit bags and meat. When you express a dislike, this item will be replaced by something else that we have in stock.
Please let us know if you have any dislikes or special requests for future orders. Depending on what the special request may be, you may have to incur an additional charge. Farm Box Delivery
Free delivery every Friday within 10 miles of the farm (including Letchworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Ware, Hertford, Buntingford, Welwyn, Royston and all the villages in between). Minimum spend £10.
When signing up, it is your responsibility to check whether we deliver to your address. If you place an order and your address is not within a 10 mile radius of the farm then you will still be charged and your box will not be delivered as we are unable to refund online transactions.
What will you do if I’m not in?
When placing your order, you are responsible for making suitable arrangements for the storage of your produce and leaving delivery instructions if you’re not in. We can leave your box anywhere you like - at the back door, under a bush or with a neighbour. You’re more than welcome to put a cool box out for us too. Once your box has been left in your "safe place" we cannot be accountable for any perished, damaged or stolen items. We will post a note through your door to let you know that we’ve been.
We can also deliver to your workplace if you prefer. Please make sure that you give us the appropriate address when placing your order as well as clear delivery instructions.
Unable to deliver/Late delivery?
If we are unable to deliver to you or have to deliver late for reasons beyond our control e.g. adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion, etc. we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes. We will make every effort to make sure that your produce reaches you safely.
We endeavour to keep the delivery day and times the same but we reserve the right to change the day or times temporarily or permanently.

What’s your preferred method of payment?
Our preferred method of payment for signing up to the farm box scheme is to take your credit or debit card details and charge your card for the appropriate amount each week. Payment for the amount owed will be processed each week in advance of delivery, after the Wednesday 10am deadline for changes, suspension and cancellations. We accept Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. Alternatively, you could set up a standing order or pay by cash, cheque or credit/debit card on a monthly basis. Please contact the team for further information.
We will contact you within 72 hours of your first box delivery/collection to confirm your details and to set up regular payment. If we have been unable to make contact with you before 10am on the Wednesday of the following week, your box will be prepared ready for delivery or collection and a non-refundable charge will be incurred.
If payment is refused…
…there will be a £1.50 administration charge. We also reserve the right to suspend your delivery/collection.
Will I be charged for changing, suspending or cancelling my order?
No provided that you let us know by 10am on Wednesday prior to delivery/collection. However, if you have a special request we reserve the right to charge an additional fee.

3. Church Farm Store to your Door - Local Delivery
What can I order for local delivery?
You can order anything from our full range of produce: high welfare Church Farm meat, Church Farm, local and organic fruit and veg, organic milk, cheese and butter, free range eggs, home cooked ready meals and pizzas, jams, chutneys and sauces, household essentials, natural bodycare products, organic drinks and alcohol and natural pet food.
Where do you deliver locally?
We deliver within 15 miles of the farm (including Letchworth, Stevenage, Hitchin, Ware, Hertford, Buntingford, Welwyn, Royston and all the villages in between).
When do you deliver locally?
Order HERE by 12pm and you can get FREE same day delivery. Available everyday Monday to Sunday, between 5-7pm. You can also order up to 7 days in advance.
Please note: Once you've placed your order through the online store you will not be able to cancel your order.
How much do you charge for local delivery?
Delivery is free if you live within 15 miles of the farm. Please see National Delivery FAQ below if you're interested in delivery beyond the 15 mile radius.
Is there a minimum spend for free local delivery?
Yes. The minimum spend is £50 for free local delivery.
What if I'm not in?
If you're not sure whether you're going to be in, please ensure that you leave delivery instructions in the checkout process. You're more than welcome to put a cool box out for us too. Please note we cannot be responsible for any perished, damaged or stolen items once left in your "safe place." We will post a note through your door to let you know that we've been.

4. Church Farm Store to your Door - National Delivery
What can I order for national delivery?
Only meat - which can be found in the Farm Butchery section of the online store - can be purchased for national delivery at the moment. Please note all of the meat is reared to high welfare standards at Church Farm and butchered on site.
How do you deliver meat safely?
The meat is vacuum packed and then packaged in insulated shipping boxes which are designed for the transportation of temperature sensitive goods. For extra insulation the meat is packed with gel ice packs which maintain a temperature of -5 degrees for over 30 hours when used with the insulated box.
Where do you deliver nationally?
We deliver to England and Wales. If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland, please contact us as we may be able to make arrangements to deliver to you. We do not deliver internationally.
When do you deliver nationally?
Once you've placed your order through the Farm Butchery section of our online store, we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery day. We deliver Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. We may be able to deliver on a Saturday for a small surcharge - please contact us. We cannot, however, deliver on Sundays.
How much do you charge for national delivery?
Delivery to any destination in England and Wales (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm) to include postage, packing and VAT:

Is there a minimum spend for national delivery?

What if I'm not in?
If you're not able to sign for your delivery, please ensure that you provide instructions of where the driver can leave the delivery in a safe place in the check out process. Please note, because meat is perishable the delivery will need to be left at your premises whether you are there or not. The courier cannot return the order to us or call again. Please note that delivery times may be extended during public and bank holidays or to exceptional circumstances.
Dispatching your Produce
If there is a problem dispatching your order we will contact you and arrange an alternative date or offer a full refund. Once the product has been dispatched it is out of our control. Where mistakes or losses occur we will usually replace your order, unless you have specified the wrong delivery address, or the order has been safely delivered, but you have neglected to retrieve it in reasonable time from the designated safe place at your premises.

When ordering items online we will need to know your contact details, delivery address and payment details. It’s important that you leave us with appropriate contact details – e.g. telephone number and/or email address so that we can contact you if we need to discuss your order with you. For regular farm box customers especially, if any of these details change, please can you let us know.

Ordering online with us is safe and secure. We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. This online system is 100% secure. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site.
6. I'm not satisfied with my order
If you are not completely satisfied with your order please let us know and we will endeavour to rectify the problem. Your feedback is always appreciated.
7. Farm Membership
All our weekly and fortnightly farm box customers receive free farm membership. Members gain a deeper involvement with the farm and build a connection to the land and the food produced from it. Membership benefits include free family farm tractor tours and farm experience days every season, 20% off all workshops, events and camping, free weekly newsletters and recipes and the advantage of being able to pick, pack and add items to their weekly box order through the online store. To become a farm member, all you need to do is sign up to start receiving a farm box on a weekly or fortnightly basis. For the first four weeks we will treat your order as a trial membership. Assuming that you are happy with your box after 4 weeks, you will become a full member and receive full farm membership. We reserve the right to withdraw membership if you cancel or change your box too frequently.

We are a not-for-profit farming, food, care and education farm. We aim to enhance the countryside, provide people with special needs opportunities, conserve wildlife and farm ecologically.
Our Farm, Shop and Cafe are open 7 days a week from 9am - 4pm (the cafe till 3.30pm weekdays)
